All images characterize the lexA enhancer trap expression of:
SE1 (first generation enhancer trap, Kockel et al., G3, 2016, PMID: 27527793)
SX4 lines (second generation, Kim et. al, G3, 2023, G3-2023-404154)
Not all enhancer traps were surveyed across all tissues of L3 larvae. The absence of images of a particular tissue from an enhancer trap does not mean that LexA is not expressed.
The green channel for all enhancer traps is used for LexA expression.
The red channel for SE1 enhancer traps is used for an anti-Tubulin counter stain (Kockel et al., 2016, PMID: 27527793).
The red channel for SX4 enhancer traps is used for an anti-dilp2 counter stain (Kim et. al, G3, 2023, G3-2023-404154).
The blue channel for all enhancer traps is used for DAPI staining
